{"id":438,"date":"2017-05-08T09:00:55","date_gmt":"2017-05-08T14:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/etbodywork.com\/?p=438"},"modified":"2017-04-20T19:29:53","modified_gmt":"2017-04-21T00:29:53","slug":"honey-chili-sauce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/etbodywork.com\/?p=438","title":{"rendered":"Honey-Chili Sauce"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is excellent on chicken or shrimp!<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 cup chopped shallots<br \/>\n2\/3 cup honey<br \/>\n1\/4 cup sherry vinegar<br \/>\n1 teaspoon chili powder<br \/>\n1\/4 teaspoon ground cumin<br \/>\n1-1\/2 cups of chicken broth, low sodium<br \/>\nsalt and paper to taste<br \/>\n1 teaspoon chopped cilantro<br \/>\n3 Tablespoons chopped pecans<\/p>\n<p>Directions:<br \/>\nLightly coat a saut\u00e9 pan with cooking spray, than on medium-high heat saut\u00e9 the chopped shallots until tender. Add the honey and vinegar to the pan. Quickly stir in the chili powder, cumin, and broth. Bring to a boil and reduce by half. Transfer sauce to blender or food processor and blend at high speed until smooth. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in cilantro.
